JOB SUMMARY:
To ensure that all food production is completed according to menu specifications, the production schedule and prescribed food hygiene procedures.
SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assign staff to tasks and monitor work performance.
- Working in a clean and hygienic environment with on the job training and adherence to HACCP standards
- Ensures that all equipment and materials are available so that the production schedule can be accomplished
- Reports on any deviations in respect of quality and quantity of raw materials
- Reports equipment and plant malfunctions.
- Monitoring the preparation and portioning of food items
- And any other job that might be assigned by the management due to exigencies of duty.
